Come into a comfortable position whatever it means to you. Feel what your body needs at this moment and:

  • When ready then slowly, close your eyes.
  • Take a short moment to listen to your natural breathing, without forcing anything.
  • Slowly inhale from the belly.
  • Then into ribs.
  • Then into the chest.
  • Up into the crown of the head.
  • Then gently hold the breath for the fifth count.
  • Exhale, let all of the air out.
  • Repeat for how long you feel like it.

  • There you go! Now, as you continue with your day, try viewing the world through the lens of mindfulness.
